Gloryland Baptist Church, FHA Lugbe, FCT has concluded plans for the dedication of its over 2000-seat capacity new Church Complex.

The Pastor in charge of the Church, Revd. Niyi Ogundipe made this known while briefing newsmen on the activities lined up for the dedication in Lugbe Abuja.

Ogundipe,who said the occasion would also be used to mark the 20th Anniversary of the existence of the Church which was founded on the 10th of October, 2004 stated that the celebration would on Monday the 7th of October commenced with three days fasting and prayer while the Church would on Tuesday visit Motherless Babies Home in Lugbe Abuja.

“On Wednesday, there will be a prayer revival while it will be followed by Praise Galore on Thursday where a Christian Artiste from Lagos will be performing after which there’s going to be an Award Night that same day to honour members of the Church who have distinguished themselves to the service of God and humanity ” the Pastor stated.

He said: ”On Friday, the 11th of October, members of the Church will be coming together for a variety night where there will be drama and musical presentations, sports and games among others while on Saturday, 12th of October, there will be a National Symposium titled “The Church In A Nation At Cross Road” and the panel of discussion will include Christian Leaders, Legal Practitioners and University Don”.

Ogundipe pointed out that the symposium would be part of the Church’s contributions towards finding a lasting solution to the ongoing economic, political, security and other challenges confronting Nigeria.

“Now on Sunday, the 13th of October, 2024, will be the grand finale Where there’s going to be a worship service and so many dedication which includes the ground breaking ceremony of the Church’s Secondary School Complex,” he said

“Coming to the Church’s building Complex, there are about five different stages of hall to be dedicated and these are, Basement 1 which is like a Community Centre, Basement 2A which houses Teenage Assembly, Basement 2B houses the Children’s Department of the Church where we move to the office Complex before the whole Church building itself which would be dedicated by the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Reverend Dr Isreal Akanji,” he stressed.

While praying God for a successful celebration, Reverend Dr Ogundipe admonished members of the Church, Christian community and well wishers to come out and celebrate the goodness of God on the life of the church.
